
Steve Broussard, former NFL Green Bay Packer and Home of Grace Alumni, will be interviewed on September 27, 2009 @ 9am as part of the White Stone Ministry Radio Show (http://www.whitestoneministries.net/).
Steve’s football career began with the signing to the New Orleans Saints in 1975 preseason and transferring to the Green Bay Packers for remainder of that year. Steve’s career placed him with several teams until 1978.
Steve Broussard’s athletic career was more notable in the Southeast for his ability to excel in multiple sports. His achievements include:
- 1967 All-state high school football and basketball teams
- 1967 MVP track and field
- Boxed Golden Gloves for 5 years
- Boxing record of 51 wins, 2 losses
- 3 State Champion Boxing Titles
- 2 SAAU Titles (which were held in New Orleans in the mid-60s)
- 1981 Winner First “Tough-man” competition held in MS at 32 years old
- 1978 “Willie Daniels Open” Racquetball Champion
